Given its long standing collaboration with Interpol, Securiport was one of the few privileged companies permitted to exhibit its Smart Border solutions at the General Assembly. Rahel shares that “such gathering allows the private sector to connect directly with different countries law enforcement stakeholders who are at the frontline tackling crime, protecting people, ensuring safety of nations and maintaining security“. Interpol General Assembly is the largest gathering of senior law enforcement officials, which provides an important opportunity for countries to network and share experiences. |

Securiport team namely Chief Information Officer Marcelo Motta and Director of Marketing and Communications Rahel Getachew traveled to Montreal Canada for the ICAO TRIP 2022 Symposium. Securiport has participated in the past at the ICAO TRIP though this year marks the first since the global epidemic where over 100 country representatives from the aviation industry and government gathered to exchange information and share insights. ICAO TRIP “aims to establish the goal and objectives of traveller identification management, to lead and reinforce a global approach, and to provide direction for action by ICAO, states” and other stakeholders in identification management. |
