Dr. Attila Freska Speaks at Airports Council International

The Airports Council International invited Dr. Attila Freska, Securiport’s Chief Operations Officer, to speak at the 23rd ACI Africa Region Annual Assembly held in Durban, South Africa. The theme of this year’s event is “Service Excellence: Key to the Future.

Dr. Freska was invited to speak on the panel entitled “The Best Passenger Experience” giving perspective among other airport business stake-holders towards the delivery level of passenger service. Since it’s inception, Securiport has worked to improve passenger experience by placing safety first, and Dr. Freska’s presentation outlined that The Best Passenger Experience, is the safest one.

“Safety is ensured through passenger processing that includes not only physical security screening, but also identity checks through the immigration process.” remarks Dr. Freska. His presentation outlined how safety can be ensured by integrating all official contacts with passengers from the time they receive their boarding pass, similar to SITA’s intelligent airport concept.
